Dr Jenny Timms

Dr Jenny Timms graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a medical degree (BMBS) and holds a BSc Honours in Neuroscience from University College Cork. She completed her GP specialty training through the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Deanery, qualifying as a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2019.
Following qualification, Dr Timms worked as a sessional and locum GP in the South East of England, including a lead role in an Acute Hub managing same-day urgent appointments across three practices, and as a GP in the NHS 111 out-of-hours service. Her broader hospital background spans emergency medicine, surgery, paediatrics, psychiatry, and elderly care.
Dr Timms has special interests in dermatology, acute and emergency presentations, and mental health. She is currently working as a sessional GP at Nephin Medical Centre, Mayo.
