Dr Amjed Ahmed

Dr Ahmed graduated from medicine in 2012, afterward he spent several years working in Internal medicine and attained membership of the college of physicians of Ireland in 2018 (MRCPI), during these years he worked in multiple medical specialities including geriatrics, cardiology, acute medicine, endocrinology, respiratory, immunology and allergy medicine and gastroenterology.
He joined the Western training scheme in General practice in Galway in 2020 and graduated in 2023 with membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP).
He has a diploma in clinical leadership from RCSI and a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology from RCPI.
He also has a certificate of care of the older person ICGP, Contraception certificate ICGP and cervical check.
Dr Ahmed has special interest in Gastroenterology having worked multiple years in
different hospitals under this role.
Dr Ahmed has also skills in minor surgery, joint injections and cryotherapy and Travel medicine.
